The MATES groups, came about though the desire of the men's Integrity team wanting to impact the men of our Church, We felt the best way to impact the men was to grow them, With this in mind we came up with the idea of MATES (Men Attending To Eternal Stuff).

Your MATES are the guy's within the church who you are able to be totally honest with. Commit to praying for regularly, and meeting together with on a regular basis.

Your mates are the guy's who you do not give the programmed response to. i.e. How ya going Mate... "Yeah good thanks..." STOP... STOP... STOP...
No the correct response is.. Well I'm glad you asked.. "I've had a shocker of a week.. Can we pray...." That's what we want... well not quite that soppy maybe but this is the correct response with your MATES
